The story follows young prince Simba, whose evil uncle Scar plots against him and his father, King Mufasa, after Simba’s birth. Scar makes Simba believe he is responsible for his father's death, prompting him to flee. Upon returning years later, Simba discovers the savannah in decline under Scar's rule and seeks to reclaim his rightful place.
