Enjoy Senegal's best tourist attraction when you take our exciting safari of Bandia Reserve. Besides discovering the different species of amazing animals native to this part of Africa, you'll also visit the beautiful Lac Rose saltwater lake.

Bandia Reserve & Lac Rose Private Tour

We'll collect you from your hotel in Saly early in the morning before driving to the Bandia Nature Reserve. Inside this protected area, you'll encounter forests and various species of wild animals native to the African Savannah.

On the route, we'll pass majestic baobab trees. Our guide will inform you about the significance of these trees for the Senegalese people.

As we continue in the offroading vehicle, we'll see a variety of species including birds, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, rhinos, monkeys, ostriches, and hyenas. Bring your camera to capture these sights.

After the safari, we'll head north along the coast to Lac Rose (Pink Lake). Upon arrival, you'll have free time to eat at local restaurants.

Then, we will tour the lake and surrounding sand dunes. The guide will explain how the lake became its color. If time allows, you'll have the opportunity for a dip in the salty waters.

Finally, we'll return to Saly at around 6 pm.

Bathing in Lac Rose

Bathing in Lac Rose will only occur if time permits, offering 15 minutes to enjoy the pink waters.

Following heavy rains in the summer of 2024, the lake has lost its color, but salt extraction activities and tours continue.
