Discover the stunning natural beauty of Senegal's Saloum Delta on our tour from Saly. Enjoy an exciting motorized canoe ride where you will spot a variety of birds in the area.

Saloum Delta Private Tour

We will collect you from your hotel in Saly and head south to Saloum Delta National Park. After approximately an hour and a half of travel, we will reach the traditional fishing village of Ndangane. Here, we will board a motorized canoe to explore the UNESCO recognized World Heritage Site.

We will sail along the calm waters of the Sine and Saloum rivers. During the journey, expect to see salt marshes, canals, and mangrove swamps. With luck, you may also spot birds such as pelicans, herons, cormorants, and kingfishers.

Afterward, we will stop at one of the restaurants in the park area, where you will have time for a traditional meal (not included). Following your meal, we will visit a tribal village inhabited by the Niominka people, who rely on fishing for their livelihood.

After learning about their traditions and customs, we will return to Saly.
