Tribal Village Private Trip

Pickup will be from your hotel in Saly to begin this trip focused on the traditions and way of life of Senegal's indigenous cultures. You will visit the tribal village of either the Serer or Fulani people.

During the visit, you will learn about the tribe's customs, social organization, house and school construction, and other significant details. A professional guide will provide insights into the characteristics of each community. The Serer is the largest indigenous group in the country and primarily follows Christianity, while the Fulani are Muslim and lead a nomadic lifestyle.

You will engage with these communities as they go about their daily lives, witnessing traditional fishing or shepherding techniques passed down through generations. If fortunate, you may also see a marketplace featuring various traditional products handcrafted by local inhabitants.
