On this day trip to Grasse, we'll visit a town with an important tradition of perfumery, explore charming villages of Provence, and enjoy a wine tasting.

Grasse Excursion + Wine Tasting

After picking you up at your hotel in Nice at 9 am, we'll head inland to Grasse, a small town in Provence, known for inspiring Patrick Süskind's novel Perfume.

Grasse has a long tradition in the world of perfume with various museums and factories. We will visit the Fragonard factory to discuss the significance of the perfumer's trade in the area.

Next, we'll stop in Gourdon, where you can visit its church and historic town that features stone houses. Following this, we will proceed to Tourettes-sur-Loup, a medieval village recognized for its artisan workshops and florally adorned cobbled streets. Here, a guided tour will allow you to explore its historic center and learn about its identity as the City of Violets.

Throughout the day, you'll have free time in either Gourdon or Tourettes-sur-Loup to taste local cuisine.

Finally, we will conclude with a wine tasting at the acclaimed Bellet vineyards, known for one of the finest appellations in France.

Our tour will return you to your hotel in Nice by 5 pm.
