Grasse Day Trip + Wine Tasting

Your journey begins with a 9 am pickup at your hotel in Nice, as we set off toward Grasse, a picturesque town in the heart of Provence. This charming place served as inspiration for Patrick Süskind’s renowned novel Perfume.

Grasse is renowned for its rich history in perfumery, showcasing numerous museums and factories dedicated to this art form. While visiting the prominent Fragonard factory, you'll learn about the significance of the perfumer’s craft within this delightful town.

After our exploration of Grasse, we will proceed to Gourdon, where you can visit its historical church and wander through the enchanting old town filled with stone dwellings. It’s a place that feels like stepping into a storybook!

The next stop is Tourettes-sur-Loup, a medieval gem celebrated for its artisan workshops and flower-adorned cobbled streets. Here, we’ll embark on a guided tour to reveal the charm of its historic center, discovering why it earned the title of City of Violets, a local tradition cherished each spring.

Throughout this day trip, you will have some free time in Gourdon or Tourettes-sur-Loup to savor the delectable local gastronomy.

To conclude our adventure, we will partake in a wine tasting at the esteemed Bellet vineyards, known for producing wines from one of France's finest appellations.

We will return to Nice after approximately 8 hours of exploration.
