Tour Details

At your selected time, we'll meet at the port of San José, where a 26-foot boat equipped with seats and a sundeck awaits to sail comfortably along the coast of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park.

We'll depart from San José beach, heading north or south based on weather conditions. If we go north, we'll sail along Cabo de Gata’s coast, passing the Cueva del Tabaco and the coves of Higuera, El Tomate, and Las Hermanicas, with a swim stop at Valle de los Escullos before returning.

For a southbound trip, the boat will pass the beach of Los Genoveses and the Grande, Chica, and Principe coves. We will see the beaches of Mónsul and Media Luna, and stop for a swim at Los Genoveses beach before heading back to the port.

Regardless of the route, participants will enjoy views of the steep cliffs and volcanic terrain. Information about the park's ecosystems and regional history, including its association with pirates, will also be shared.

The tour lasts between 1 hour and 45 minutes and 2 hours, concluding with a return to the starting point.
