Cabo de Gata Evening Hike

We'll meet at the indicated time at the Mirador de Sollarete in San José to begin our tour. The tour will lead us quietly along the coast, enjoying the landscapes of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park at night.

During the trekking route, we'll explore the environment and learn about the history and geology of Cabo de Gata, from its volcanic origin to legends of pirates. While walking in the area, the guide will help us identify its typical flora and fauna.

The route will take us to the Playa de los Genoveses, a location featured in numerous films and television series. Our astronomy guide will teach us to locate the polar star for orientation. We will observe the visible stars and constellations while discovering the associated mythology.

After the observation, we'll return through the interior of the Natural Park to our meeting point at the Mirador de Sollarete de San José, concluding this 3-hour tour.
