Cabo de Gata Kayak & Snorkel Tour

Experience the stunning landscapes of Almeria on an exhilarating kayak and snorkel adventure in Cabo de Gata starting from La Fabriquilla. This journey offers a unique vantage point of Spain’s captivating southern coastline as you glide through the waters.

Activity Overview

We will convene at La Fabriquilla Beach in Almeria, where our incredible kayak excursion around the picturesque shoreline of Cabo de Gata will commence.

Your guide will provide essential instructions for handling the kayaks, and as soon as you feel comfortable, it’s time to paddle eastward. This engaging activity allows you to savor the distinctive views the area has to offer.

Over the course of the 2-hour experience, our guide will share intriguing insights into the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, including its history, wildlife, and geological features. Following the kayaking segment, we’ll dive into the water for some snorkeling. Here, you may encounter vibrant schools of fish, rays, and possibly even sea turtles if fortune smiles upon us.

Once we conclude our snorkeling experience, we will continue paddling until we reach Las Sirenas reef. This stop offers magnificent views of the Cabo de Gata and its iconic lighthouse.

We will then retrace our route back to the starting location, concluding our adventure with a fond farewell.

Throughout the kayaking journey, we will capture a series of photographs. At the tour's conclusion, you’ll receive a link to download these photos free of charge two weeks later.

Key Information

Participants must be able to swim and possess the physical capacity to paddle a kayak.

The maximum weight limit for this activity is set at 135 kg (297 lbs) to ensure safety.

Meeting Point Variability

This experience will generally initiate at La Fabriquilla Beach if conditions permit. In case of unfavorable weather, we will commence the tour from an alternative nearby location, such as Cuervo Cove or Agua Amarga Beach. We will provide notification of any changes the day prior.
