Details of the Activity

Your experience begins at La Fabriquilla Beach in Almeria, where we will embark on a delightful kayak expedition along the captivating shores of Cabo de Gata.

Following a brief introduction on kayak usage, you'll be ready to glide into the water and begin your journey toward the east. As you kayak, immerse yourself in the breathtaking views that this coastal area has to offer.

Throughout this 2-hour excursion, your guide will share intriguing insights into the history, wildlife, and geological features of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. We will then take a refreshing dip into the water for an exciting session of snorkeling, where you may encounter vibrant schools of fish, rays, and, with a bit of luck, even sea turtles.

After our snorkeling escapade, we will resume our kayaking journey towards Las Sirenas reef, which offers stunning views of Cabo de Gata along with its iconic lighthouse.

Finally, we will return to our original meeting point, concluding the tour with farewells.

Participant Requirements

Participants should be proficient swimmers and capable of paddling a kayak alone.This activity is not suitable for individuals with physical limitations, existing medical conditions, mobility challenges, or those who are pregnant.

The weight limit for each kayak is 260 kg (573 pounds), accommodating a maximum of 4 participants per kayak.

Meeting Point Adaptability

When weather conditions permit, the tour will initiate at La Fabriquilla Beach. However, should adverse weather arise, alternative starting locations may include Cuervo cove or Agua Amarga Beach. In such cases, participants will be notified the day prior to the activity.
