Cabo de Gata Kayak & Snorkel Tour

Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Almeria with this exciting kayak and snorkel tour in Cabo de Gata from La Fabriquilla. You'll see Spain's breathtaking southern coast from a unique perspective as you kayak.

Activity Details

After meeting at La Fabriquilla Beach in Almeria, we will start our kayak tour around the coast of Cabo de Gata. We will provide basic guidelines on kayak usage before heading into the water to kayak towards the east.

During the 2-hour tour, you will listen to the guide as they share facts about the history, fauna, and geology of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. We will then snorkel, where we may see large shoals of fish, rays, and possibly sea turtles.

After snorkeling, we will continue kayaking to Las Sirenas reef for views of Cabo de Gata and its lighthouse before returning to the meeting point.

During the kayak tour, we will do a photo report. You will receive a link at the end of the tour to download the photos free of charge 2 weeks later.

Important Info

You must know how to swim and be able to paddle a kayak to participate in this activity.

The activity has a weight limit of 135 kg (297 lbs) for safety reasons.

Meeting Point Change

If conditions are favorable, the activity will begin at La Fabriquilla Beach. However, if the weather is adverse, we will start in another nearby location, such as Cuervo cove or Agua Amarga Beach, notifying you the day before.
