Cabo de Gata Kayak & Snorkel Tour

Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Almeria with this kayak and snorkel tour in Cabo de Gata from La Fabriquilla. You'll see Spain's southern coast from a unique perspective as you kayak.

Activity Details

After meeting at La Fabriquilla Beach in Almeria, we'll set off on our kayak tour around the coast of Cabo de Gata. Basic guidelines on kayak usage will be provided. You'll kayak towards the east, enjoying views of the scenery.

During the 2-hour tour, a guide will share insights about the history, fauna, and geology of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. We'll then go snorkelling, where you may see shoals of fish, rays, and possibly sea turtles.

After snorkelling, we’ll continue kayaking to Las Sirenas reef, where you'll see views of Cabo de Gata and its lighthouse. We will then return to the meeting point to conclude the tour.

Souvenir Photos

During the kayak tour, a photo report will be taken. At the end, you will receive a link to download the photos free of charge 2 weeks later.

Important Info

You must know how to swim and be physically able to paddle a kayak to participate in this activity.

This activity has a weight limit of 135 kg (297 lbs) for safety reasons.

Meeting Point Change

If conditions are favorable, the activity will start at La Fabriquilla Beach. If the weather is adverse, an alternative location such as Cuervo cove or Agua Amarga Beach will be used, and you will be informed the day before.
