Kayak Overview

Your journey commences at a time you select on the beach of Agua Amarga. Here, we'll provide a brief orientation on handling kayaks and paddles before setting off on our exciting coastal expedition along the Almeria coastline.

Post-instruction, we’ll embark on the kayak tour within Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. Throughout the excursion, there will be pauses for resting and opportunities to gain insights into the natural and historical features that make this region of Spain truly remarkable.

We will visit various volcanic coves and barrier reefs to further appreciate the unique local landscape. During one such stop, take a moment to enjoy a refreshing drink and an energy bar.

With your energy replenished, seize the chance for a invigorating swim in the sea. This area of the Mediterranean is renowned for its rich biodiversity, often providing encounters with vibrant schools of fish while you're in the water!

As our adventure concludes, we’ll paddle back to our starting point, returning approximately three hours after we depart.

During your kayak journey, we’ll capture numerous photos to help you cherish the experience. At the conclusion of the tour, a link will be provided for you to download these images for free, available two weeks post-tour.

Eligibility for Participants

Participants must be able to swim and independently manage the kayak paddles.

The minimum age for joining this tour is 3 years.

Potential Meeting Point Adjustments

The activity is set to kick off at Aguamarga Beach when weather conditions allow. In case of unfavorable weather, we'll relocate the starting point to a nearby location like Cala del Cuervo or La Fabriquilla Beach. In such scenarios, we will inform you a day in advance.
