Kayak Overview

We’ll gather at a time you prefer on the shores of Agua Amarga, where a brief instruction session will guide you on the use of paddles and kayaks before we set off on our enjoyable journey along the Almeria coastline.

Following these essential guidelines, we’ll commence our kayak expedition through the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. Throughout the journey, we will pause for rests and discuss the natural and historical aspects of this enchanting Spanish region.

Our route includes visits to several volcanic coves and barrier reefs, allowing for deeper insights into the spectacular local landscapes. During one of these stops, you can enjoy a hydrating drink and an energy bar.

Rejuvenated, you’ll have some leisure time to take a refreshing swim in the sea. The Mediterranean waters here are renowned for their rich biodiversity, and you may find yourself swimming alongside vibrant schools of fish!

Ultimately, we’ll make our way back to the kayaks for our return journey to where we started, completing the tour approximately 3 hours after we set off.

Memorable Photos

Throughout the kayaking excursion, we’ll capture numerous photos to commemorate the experience. At the conclusion of the tour, you’ll receive a link, accessible two weeks later, to download the pictures at no cost.

Requirements for Participation

Participants must be capable swimmers and able to paddle the kayak independently.This activity is not recommended for individuals exceeding 264 lbs (120 kg), those with limited physical fitness, any medical conditions, mobility challenges, or pregnant individuals.

Possible Changes to Meeting Point

The activity is set to begin at Agua Amarga Beach, contingent on favorable weather conditions. In cases of inclement weather, we will initiate the tour at an alternate close location, such as Cala del Cuervo or La Fabriquilla Beach. If such adjustments are necessary, we will inform you the day prior.
