Hop in a fab off-road vehicle and discover the most spectacular beaches of Almeria on our 4x4 tour of Los Genoveses & Mónsul beaches. During the tour, you'll also visit the gold mining area of Rodalquilar.

Los Genoveses & Mónsul Beaches 4x4 Tour

We'll meet up at the Rambla de los Frailes at the scheduled time and start our 4x4 tour to some of the best unspoilt beaches in Almeria.

Our first stop will be the Rodalquilar ancient gold mines. Here, we'll exit the 4x4 vehicle and discuss the important role that gold played in the local economy. The mine operated until the middle of the 20th century.

Afterwards, we'll head to the wild beaches in the area. The first beach will be Los Genoveses. The vehicle will have TV screens to view scenes from the film El Niño, which was shot here.

We'll stop at Mónsul Beach for pictures and to admire the views. This beach was chosen by Steven Spielberg for a scene in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

If you come in the summer, you'll have some free time on the beach for swimming.

Next, we'll head inland to explore the architecture and landscapes related to a tragic event that inspired Federico García Lorca to write Bodas de Sangre.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point 2 hours 45 minutes after our adventure began.
