New Orleans Tour

At the appointed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin our tour of New Orleans. We'll stroll along the banks of the Mississippi River through the birthplace of Louisiana's most important city.

During the tour of the French Quarter, we'll visit Jackson Square, where the Cathedral of St. Louis is located. This area is home to the oldest Catholic church in the United States and is near the French Market.

We'll continue to explore the European heritage of the neighborhood, noting the connections to Bourbon Spain as we walk through its streets. We'll leave the French Quarter, crossing Esplanade Avenue, to see houses over 100 years old leading to City Park, the sixth largest urban park in the United States.

The park features golf courses, an art museum, and a sculpture garden. We'll also visit a cemetery to learn about the unique burial practices in New Orleans.

We will visit the Garden District, known for historic mansions flanked by oak trees and areas affected by Hurricane Katrina. After three hours, we will drop you off at your hotel.
