New Orleans Tour
At the appointed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin our tour of New Orleans. The tour starts with a stroll along the banks of the Mississippi River in the French Quarter.
During the tour, we'll visit Jackson Square and the Cathedral of St. Louis, noted as the oldest Catholic church in the United States. Nearby is the French Market.
We will explore the European heritage of the neighborhood, named after the Gallic invasion, while observing its links to Bourbon Spain.
Crossing Esplanade Avenue, we will see historic houses over 100 years old. This avenue, lined with colonial mansions, leads to City Park, the sixth largest urban park in the United States.
City Park includes golf courses, an art museum, and a sculpture garden. We will also visit a cemetery to learn about the unique burial practices in the city.
We will conclude in the Garden District, known for its historic mansions and oak trees, including areas impacted by Hurricane Katrina. After three hours, we'll drop you off at your hotel.
