New Orleans Tour

At the appointed time, hotel pickup will commence for the tour of New Orleans. The journey begins with a leisurely stroll along the banks of the Mississippi River through the birthplace of the most significant city in Louisiana.

During the French Quarter tour, the group will visit Jackson Square, home to the Cathedral of St. Louis. As a Catholic city in a predominantly Protestant country, New Orleans accommodates the oldest Catholic church in the United States. The nearby French Market adds to the local experience.

Continuing the tour, you will learn about the European heritage of the neighborhood. The name derives from the Gallic invasion, and as you meander through the streets, you’ll observe connections to Bourbon Spain.

Exiting the French Quarter via Esplanade Avenue, the group will view houses over 100 years old. This avenue, lined with colonial mansions, leads to City Park, recognized as the sixth largest urban park in the United States.

City Park features golf courses, an art museum, and a sculpture garden, among other attractions. The tour route also includes a cemetery visit, providing insights into the unique burial customs of New Orleans.

Before concluding, the group will experience the Garden District, characterized by historic mansions flanked by oak trees. This area includes one of the sites most impacted by Hurricane Katrina, which devastated the city in 2005.

After three hours of exploring, the tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.
