Day Trip to the Agrio Waterfall

Embark on a day trip from Caviahue or Copahue to witness the Salto del Agrio Waterfall, a 45-meter (150-foot) waterfall in the province of Neuquén.

Our adventure begins at the meeting points in Caviahue and Copahue, then we head to Salto del Agrio, a natural wonder of Argentine Patagonia.

We will first stop at the viewpoint of the Lagunas las Mellizas and the Las Máquinas complex, offering views of the Copahue Volcano. Next, we'll visit the historically rich Agrio Bridge.

Our journey culminates at Salto del Agrio, where we will have a one-hour visit to capture photos and learn about the waterfall and its unique geological formations, influenced by mineral-rich acidic waters and surrounding basalt walls. The trip concludes three and a half hours after it begins, returning to the meeting points.
