Day Trip to the Agrio Waterfall

Embark on a day trip from Caviahue or Copahue to witness the Salto del Agrio Waterfall, a remarkable 45-meter (150-foot) waterfall located in the province of Neuquén.

Discover the Enchanting Salto del Agrio

The adventure commences at the meeting points in Caviahue and Copahue. The journey includes a stop at the viewpoint of Lagunas las Mellizas and the Las Máquinas complex, showcasing views with the Copahue Volcano in the background. Next, we will visit the historical Agrio Bridge.

Upon arrival at Salto del Agrio, you'll have one hour to explore and take photos. We will discuss the geological features of the area, highlighting the landscape formed by mineral-rich acidic waters and basalt walls. The tour concludes approximately three and a half hours after the start, returning to the meeting points.
