Puente de Piedra Hiking Route

Description

After meeting at the indicated point in Caviahue or Copahue, we'll head towards the place where we'll start this hiking route along the Puente de Piedra. A unique volcanic landscape in the Argentine Patagonia awaits us.

The starting point will be the ascent to the Puente de Piedra trail, located only 9 kilometres (5.5 miles) from Caviahue. Along this 1.5-kilometre-long (0.9-mile) trail, we'll immerse ourselves in interpreting the local flora and fauna, along with exploring the unique features of the geological landscape that surrounds us.

On our hiking route along the Puente de Piedra, we'll be accompanied by panoramic views of the Caviahue Lake, the entrance to the Hualcupen Valley, and the imposing Copahue Volcano. We'll be immersed in a natural paradise.

Once we arrive at the Puente de Piedra of Caviahue, we'll leave you time to rest and take some souvenir photos.

After 3.5 hours of hiking, we'll take you back to the meeting point.
