Hike Details
After picking you up from your hotel, we'll head to the southwest of the Caviahue Caldera to the Cajón de Hualcupén, where the impressive Riscos Bayos await. After a pleasant 30-minute journey, we'll arrive at the entrance to the Riscos Bayos private site, where we'll grab hiking poles and begin our trek. These ignimbrites have been formed over millions of years by volcanic eruptions. We will observe various columns, pillars, and spires.
Throughout the hike, we will admire the surrounding plain, making stops at strategic points for photos and breaks. The site is known for meditation and is considered ideal for contemplation and self-reflection.
Our final stop will be at one of the park's most enigmatic spots, where we will discuss the unique characteristics of the terrain and history while enjoying a hot drink. We will then admire a sunset over Riscos Bayos.
Finally, we will return to your hotel after a total of 4 hours.
