Private Tour of Noto

We'll meet at the indicated time at the entrance gate to the historic center of Noto, specifically the Porta Reale or Porta Ferdinandea, near the Church of San Francesco d'Assisi. Our private tour begins with a visit to this church, known for its frescoes and decorations.

Next, we'll walk down the main street to the Church of Santa Chiara, where we’ll admire its columns embellished with stucco and statues of apostles and cherubs.

We'll then visit Piazza del Duomo to see the majestic Ducezio Palace, the seat of the City Hall, and its frescoed ceiling.

In front of this palace is the monumental staircase leading to the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, a symbol of Noto that has collapsed three times over the years.

Continuing, we will stroll down Via Nicolaci, where the famous "infiorata" takes place. We'll admire notable noble palaces, including Nicolaci Palace with its intricately decorated balconies.

Finally, we'll explore the Loggia del Mercato, formerly the market of Noto, now used for cultural events. We’ll conclude our 2-hour tour at the neoclassical-style Tina di Lorenzo Theater and the Hercules Fountain.
