Private Tour of Noto

We will meet at the agreed time at the entrance gate to the historic center of Noto, specifically at the Porta Reale or Porta Ferdinandea, near the Church of San Francesco d'Assisi. The private tour begins with a visit to this church to admire its frescoes and decorations.

Next, we will walk down the main street to the Church of Santa Chiara, where we will see embellished columns and statues of apostles and cherubs.

We will then visit Piazza del Duomo, home to the stunning Ducezio Palace, which houses the City Hall. The frescoed ceiling is a highlight.

In front of this Baroque jewel is the monumental staircase leading to the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, a symbol of Noto, which has collapsed three times throughout history.

We will proceed down Via Nicolaci, famous for the "infiorata", admiring the beautiful noble palaces such as the Nicolaci Palace, noted for its decorative balconies and carvings.

Finally, we will visit the Loggia del Mercato, previously the market of Noto, and now hosts various cultural events. The tour concludes at the elegant neoclassical-style Tina di Lorenzo Theater and the Hercules Fountain after 2 hours.
