Visit to Casa Nepeta Distillery

On this visit to the Casa Nepeta Distillery, we will have a tasting of herbal spirits and you can choose between a truffle hunting or botanical printing workshop.

Tour Options

During the booking process, you'll select from the following options, both beginning at Casa Nepeta, a 15-minute drive from Noto, and lasting between 2.5 to 3 hours:

Distillery Visit + Botanical Printing

This option includes a 2-hour botanical printing workshop. Participants will gather leaves and plants cultivated on the estate for their artworks. You will learn to use a chalcography press and manual contact printing techniques, creating a small fabric tapestry or work on paper as a souvenir. Following this, we will tour the organic aromatic herb fields where herbs like lesser calamint, marjoram, and thyme are cultivated. The experience ends with a tasting of herbal spirits.

Schedule: Monday to Sunday at 9:30.

Distillery Visit + Truffle Hunting

This option involves a truffle hunt in the woods around Casa Nepeta, searching for bianchetto truffles and black truffles with a truffle expert and trained dogs for 2 hours. Collected truffles can be purchased. After the hunt, participants will return to the distillery for a tasting of herbal spirits or a frozen Nepeta Spritz. The experience concludes with a visit to the aromatic herb fields.
