Copán 2 Day Tour

Join us on this 2-day expedition to the ancient ruins of Copán, where we will delve into the remarkable Mayan temples and palaces. This site stands out as one of the foremost archaeological treasures in Honduras.

Itinerary

Day 1: San Salvador - San Andrés - Copán

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in San Salvador at 8:30 am. Our first stop will be the San Andrés Archaeological Park, where a guided tour will immerse you in the history of its acropolis and pyramids. You might be surprised to learn that these ancient ruins were hidden under volcanic ash for a lengthy period.

After the tour, we will continue our journey, crossing the border into Guatemala before reaching Honduras. After approximately 4 hours on the road, we will arrive in Copán. You will have the afternoon at your leisure to enjoy lunch, explore the local area, or relax at your hotel.

Day 2: Copán - San Salvador

The following morning at 9 am, we will take you to the Copán Archaeological Park. Here, you will have around 3 hours to discover these Mayan ruins, which have been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Prepare to be awed by the pyramids, temples, altars, and sports fields that lie ahead!

At 1 pm, we will regroup and board our bus for the return to El Salvador. We will conclude this enriching journey with a drop-off at your hotel in San Salvador by 6 pm.

3-Day Tour

If you're interested, an additional night can be included. On this third day, we will follow a similar itinerary to that of the second day, as outlined previously.

This tour offers 1 or 2 nights of accommodation in a 3-star hotel, such as Hotel Plaza Copán, Don Udo's, or a comparable venue. The quoted price is per person sharing a double room.
