On this day trip, we'll visit El Tunco Beach, climb a volcano in El Boquerón National Park, and explore the historical centre in San Salvador.

Day Trip Details

We'll begin by picking you up from your hotel in San Salvador. After boarding the vehicle, you'll receive an audio guide in English as we leave the capital for the Pacific coast. The first stop will be El Tunco Beach, where you'll have 3 hours of free time to swim, sunbathe, and try local cuisine.

Next, we will head to El Boquerón National Park to explore the San Salvador Volcano. You'll have the opportunity to ascend to the crater, which has a diameter of over 1 kilometre (0.62 miles). Remember to take photos of the caldera and landscapes.

After the volcano, we will proceed to San Salvador. You will stroll through the historical centre, passing key sites such as the National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, National Theatre, and El Rosario Church. The audio guide will provide insights into these historical buildings.

Pay attention to the audio as we reach Plaza Libertad, Plaza Morazán, and Plaza Gerardo Barrios to learn about the commemorative events. We will conclude the trip back at your hotel after a total of 10 hours.
