Day Trip Details
The day begins with a pickup from your hotel in San Salvador. After boarding the vehicle, you'll receive an audio guide in English as we head towards the Pacific coast. Our first stop is El Tunco Beach, where you'll have 3 hours of free time to swim, sunbathe, and sample local cuisine. Following this, we will proceed to El Boquerón National Park to visit the San Salvador Volcano and ascend to the crater, which has a diameter of over 1 kilometre (0.62 miles).
After the volcano, we will go to San Salvador, where we'll explore the historical centre. The tour includes viewing the National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, National Theatre, and El Rosario Church, supported by insights from the audioguide.
Pay attention to the recording at Plaza Libertad, Plaza Morazán, and Plaza Gerardo Barrios to learn about significant historical events. The trip concludes as we return you to your hotel after a total of 10 hours.
