Day Trip Details
We'll begin the day by picking you up from your hotel in San Salvador. After hopping onto the vehicle, we'll provide an audio guide in English and leave the capital for the Pacific coast. Our first stop will be El Tunco Beach, where you'll have 3 hours of free time to swim, sunbathe, and sample local cuisine. Then we'll proceed to El Boquerón National Park, home to the San Salvador Volcano. We will ascend to the crater, which is over 1 kilometre (0.62 miles) wide.
After our volcano visit, we'll head to San Salvador, where we will explore the historical centre. During our stroll, we will pass the National Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral, National Theatre, and El Rosario Church. The audioguide will provide insights about these landmarks.
We will also discuss the significance of Plaza Libertad, Plaza Morazán, and Plaza Gerardo Barrios. Finally, we'll return to your hotel after a total of 10 hours.
