Day Trip to Puerta del Diablo Natural Park + Pupusa-Making Workshop

Join us on this day trip to Puerta del Diablo! Explore this Salvadorean site with stunning views of volcanos and rock formations, and participate in a pupusa-making workshop.

Tour Details

After pickup from your hotel, we'll head to the Panchimalco district in the mountainous area of El Salvador. You'll see giant boulders and hear the legend of Puerta del Diablo while exploring the natural park.

At the crystal lookouts, enjoy views of the volcanos of San Salvador and San Vicente. Prepare your camera for this scenic vista with the Salvadorean capital in the background. We'll also take in the views of the mountains of El Chulo and El Chulito before reaching the Puerta del Diablo Cave, with a great view of Panchimalco from a resting spot.

The tour continues to Plaza Típica, filled with stalls of Salvadorean food. We will stop at a traditional pupusa restaurant for a pupusa-making workshop where you'll enjoy your handmade pupusas. We'll then visit Planes de Renderos before concluding this 4-hour tour.

Add an Optional Zipline Experience

For an adventurous option, select the tour that includes a zipline experience in La Puerta del Diablo. After the main tour, you'll go to the zipline platform on a rocky mountain.

You will zipline 508 feet (155 meters) with spectacular views of the volcanos and valley for 2 minutes of an adrenaline rush.

The zipline activity is not available in September and October, with a maximum weight limit of 260 pounds (118 kilos).
