Discover the Salvadoran capital with this guided tour in English. San Salvador has much to offer, including museums, churches, and a historic center.

San Salvador Guided Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel and start our tour of the main sights of El Salvador's capital. The tour covers the historic center, starting from colonial times, visiting the Museo del Hipotecario and Plaza de Gerardo Barrios, which features a statue of President Barrios. Nearby are key government buildings, such as the National Palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral.

We will explore the Crypt of Monsignor Romero inside the Cathedral and see point zero of El Salvador in the historical center near the Metropolitan Cathedral. Next, we head to the National Theatre, a notable performing arts center, followed by a visit to Plaza de la Libertad and the striking church of El Rosario.

Lastly, we will stop at the National Artisan Market, where you can purchase handmade products from locals. This tour lasts 3.5 hours before returning to your hotel.
