Discover the Salvadoran capital with this guided tour in English. San Salvador has much to offer, including museums, churches, and a historic center.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Salvador to begin a panoramic tour of the city.

Our first stop will be the Zona Rosa, a modern area where cultural and nightlife activities are concentrated, including the current Presidential House. Nearby is the Parque del Principito, ideal for a short walk and photos.

Next, we'll head to the Santa Elena area and visit the Mirador El Águila viewpoint for views of the city and volcanoes.

We'll then visit the Military Museum located in the former Presidential House, exploring its corridors and viewing the relief map of El Salvador.

The tour continues at the revitalized historic center where we'll explore main squares like Plaza Libertad and Plaza Gerardo Barrios, surrounded by significant buildings like the National Palace and the National Library.

We will enter the El Rosario Church, followed by the Metropolitan Cathedral, where Monsignor Romero rests. We will also visit the National Theatre and other emblematic places, concluding with a return to your hotel after a 3.5-hour guided tour.

Tour with pickup at your hotel in San Salvador: at 9 am or 1:30 pm.Tour with pickup at your hotel in El Tunco: 8:20 am.

Most museums are closed on Mondays.During Holy Week and the feast of the patron saint of San Salvador (1-6 August), entry to churches is restricted.
