Tour Details

At the scheduled time, pickup will be from your hotel in San Salvador for a panoramic city tour. The first stop is the Zona Rosa, known for its cultural and nightlife offerings, including the current Presidential House. Nearby, visit the Parque del Principito for a brief walk and unique photo opportunities.

Next, head to the Santa Elena area and take in views at the Mirador El Águila viewpoint, which offers expansive views of the city and surrounding volcanoes.

The tour continues to the Military Museum in the former Presidential House, where you'll learn about the country’s recent history and view the relief map of El Salvador. Following this, explore the revitalized historic centre of San Salvador, including Plaza Libertad and Plaza Gerardo Barrios with its significant government buildings such as the National Palace and National Library.

Visit the El Rosario Church and the Metropolitan Cathedral, where Monsignor Romero is interred. Move on to explore the National Theatre and other landmark sites before returning to your hotel after the 3.5-hour tour.
