Tour to the Gulf of Fonseca

At 5:15 am, pickup is at your hotel in San Salvador. A comfortable bus will take you on a 3.5-hour ride to the port of La Union. Once there, you will board a boat to explore the Gulf of Fonseca.

The tour includes views of the Calvo tuna farm, Punta Chiquirin, Conchaguita Island, and more. The first stop is Meanguera Island for about half an hour to stroll and learn about local lifestyles.

Following this, we will sail to Zacatillo Island where we will stop for 2.5 hours. This is an opportunity to have lunch in local restaurants and experience the national gastronomy at your leisure.

At the agreed time, we will reconvene and head back to the municipal dock of La Union. En route, views of the islands of Conejo and Chupito will be available.

Afterward, we will return to the bus for your ride back to your hotel in San Salvador, arriving around 8 pm.
