After meeting in the emblematic Hauptmarkt, or main market square, you'll begin your walking tour around historic Nuremberg. You will admire the centuries-old buildings and the 14th century Gothic Cathedral around the square before delving into the old town, heading west to uncover secrets hiding around each corner.

Amid cobbled streets and stone buildings, you'll discover the city's feared trade of witchcraft. Return to the 17th century to relive the legendary witch trials. Your English-speaking guide will reveal the myths and legends of love, death and madness linked to some famous fountains, including the story of the Flying Horseman.

Learn about the different trades of Nuremberg's locals during the Middle Ages, including the cruel tasks of executioners and torturers. You'll also hear about Gregor Mendel, a scientist related to Nuremberg.

Finally, at the old city walls, you'll reach Weissgerbergasse, the oldest street in the city, where your guide will share the story of Kaspar Hauser, an enigmatic figure believed by many to be of royal descent. This walking tour will last approximately 3 hours.
