Mount Popa Day Trip

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Bagan at 8:30 am and go by minibus to Mount Popa, one hour away. Mount Popa is located more than 1500 metres (4900 feet) above sea level and is known for being the religious dwelling of the Nats, featuring a temple at the summit.

This area is a significant place of worship in Myanmar. Upon reaching the base of Mount Popa, you'll begin the climb of 777 steps to the summit, making stops along the way for views and photographs. You will encounter local wildlife, monkeys, and see the large Gong and Myingyan plain from a great perspective.

After the ascent, you will descend and return to the minibus, with stops at villages like Jan Lwee and Sin Luu to learn about local agriculture. The tour concludes back at your hotel in Bagan at approximately 4:30 pm.
