Galician Mussels Boat Tour + Tasting

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at the port of O Grove, where we'll board the boat and set sail along the Arosa estuary, the longest of the Galician coast. All aboard!

As we sail along the estuary, you'll observe the importance of fishing, shellfishing, and aquaculture in Galicia, especially in the area of O Grove. You'll become familiar with the Galician mussel raft culture as we pass through the mussel farms that dot the bay of Arosa.

After visiting the mussel, oyster, and scallop harvesting areas, you'll have the opportunity to taste steamed mussels from the estuary onboard, accompanied with water, wine, or soft drinks. This will highlight why mussels are the star product of O Grove!

During the return trip to the port, you'll have the chance to look through the glass bottom of the boat and admire the underwater world.

After 75 minutes of sailing along the estuary, we'll return to the port of O Grove, where we'll disembark and say our goodbyes.
