Ría de Arousa Seafood & Queimada Cruise

Go on a pleasant catamaran ride on the Arousa Estuary accompanied by seafood and queimada in this activity from O Grove. You'll even visit the mussel farms and taste the famous Albariño wine!

We'll meet at the port of O Grove at the designated time and board the catamaran for our cruise along the Arousa Estuary, known as the Ría de Arousa.

Throughout the crossing, we'll sail by famous places like the A Illa de Arousa and Cambados, recognized for Albariño wine. This municipality was awarded the title of European Wine City in 2017.

We'll also pass by the mussel, oyster and scallop farms, stopping at some of them. After admiring the coastal scenery, we'll enjoy a seafood platter.

The menu includes Galician empanada, brown crab, velvet crab, four crayfish, prawns, cockles and mussels. A non-seafood option with grilled meat is also available. The meal will be accompanied by Albariño wine, beer and soft drinks, with a typical Santiago cake for dessert.

After lunch, we'll witness one of the most magical traditions of Galicia: the preparation of a queimada. We'll see the ritual for this traditional drink and then taste it, accompanied by crema de orujo.

After this experience, we'll return to the pier of O Grove, concluding the activity after a total of 2 hours.
