We'll set sail from the port of El Grove for a boat trip to the island of Sálvora. During the visit, you'll explore its lighthouse and old village, while enjoying the landscapes of the Arosa estuary.
Sálvora Island Tour
At 10 am, we'll depart from El Grove towards Sálvora, part of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park. After a short crossing of the Arosa estuary, we'll arrive at Sálvora dock for a two and a half hour island tour.
On foot, we will visit the lighthouse and the old village. The Sálvora lighthouse, which played a significant role during World War II, will be explored, along with insights into the residents of the old village and its special granaries.
As we walk the trails, we'll encounter the wildlife of Sálvora. Before departing, we'll learn about the history of the island's mermaid, whose sculpture is located next to the quay.
On the return journey, we will continue to appreciate the Galician seascapes, docking at the port of El Grove at 2:30 pm.
