Sálvora Island Tour
At 10 am, we'll set sail from the port of El Grove towards the island of Sálvora, part of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park. After a short crossing of the Arosa estuary, we'll disembark at the Sálvora dock for a tour lasting two and a half hours, during which we'll visit the lighthouse and the old village.
Sálvora lighthouse played an important role in World War II. We will learn about the history of the inhabitants of the old village, including its special granaries. Along the trails, we will discover the wildlife of Sálvora. Before our return, we will hear about the island's mermaid, with a sculpture located next to the quay.
During the return trip, we will continue to observe the Galician seascapes. We will dock back at the port of El Grove at 2:30 pm.
