We will walk through the vibrant streets of Oaxaca to the Panteón General, experiencing the essence of the celebration amidst tombs, music, and incense. Discussions will cover Day of the Dead traditions and the significance of the relationship Mexicans have with death.
Next, we will visit the traditional Jalatlaco neighborhood, observing how locals honor their deceased family members. This area will feature prominent flowers, incense, and intricate altars at house entrances.
The tour concludes at an exclusive local spot for a delicious dinner featuring traditional Day of the Dead dishes, followed by farewells at the end of the 4-hour tour.
