Join us on a free tour of Oaxaca to explore the city's colonial architecture and rich Mexican traditions.

Description

We'll start our Oaxaca free tour in front of the Museo de los Pintores Oaxaqueños at the Zócalo central square.

Our first stop will be the Metropolitan Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption. Next, we will visit the Santo Domingo Church, known for its history as a military warehouse and stable.

As we continue, we will pass by the Macedonio Alcalá Theater and the Benito Juárez House-Museum, where we will discuss the life of this historical figure. We will then proceed to the San Pablo Convent, another significant colonial site in Oaxaca.

Following this, we will reach the Pre-Hispanic Art Market of Mexico, discussing its permanent collection, which offers a subsequent visit opportunity for interested participants.

We will also explore the Sanchez Pascuas Market, known for a variety of products from different regions of Mexico, including food and raw materials.

Our tour will conclude near the old City Hall, wrapping up our two-hour tour while providing a deeper understanding of Oaxaca's cultural heritage.
