Santiago Apoala Journey
Your adventure begins with a pickup at 1015 Melchor Ocampo Street in Oaxaca at the scheduled time, followed by a drive into the Mixtec area, famed for its abundant natural richness.
After a scenic drive of approximately 3 hours, we will arrive at the Apoala viewpoint. Here, you can admire stunning vistas of the Santiago Apoala valley and surrounding landscapes—perfect opportunities for breathtaking photographs and to truly appreciate this beautiful region.
Next, we will embark on a 1.5-hour hike to the well-known Peñas Gemelas, one of the most distinctive sites in Apoala. This segment will also include a visit to a charming natural cave.
Following our exploration, you'll have an hour for lunch at the local village. Once recharged, our journey will take us to the remarkable Cola de Serpiente and Velo de Novia waterfalls, among the most picturesque in the area.
Our route will then lead us towards Laguna Encantada, recognized for its striking turquoise waters. You'll enjoy approximately 1.5 hours of leisurely time to wander, soak in the nature around you, and if you desire, take a refreshing swim.
