Walking Tour of Oaxaca

We'll pick you up at your hotel to begin our tour of the city, discovering all of Oaxaca's nooks and crannies. Our first stop will be the Temple of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, a notable example of baroque architecture. We'll also visit the Museum of the Cultures of Oaxaca (ticket not included), located inside the old Santo Domingo convent, showcasing a vast collection of archaeological objects from the Mixtec and Zapotec cultures.

The walking tour continues around the cobbled streets of Oaxaca, reaching the zólaco, the main square in the city, where you can find museums, artisanal shops, and restaurants typical to the city. We will delve into traditional markets, such as the Mercado Benito Juárez, featuring a variety of black clay items and the famous "alebrijes", colorful fantasy figurines with origins in this region.

After a day of exploring Oaxaca, we return to hotels, arriving around 2 pm.
