Oban Town Walking Tour

We'll meet at the entrance of the Oban War Peace Museum harbour at the designated time and begin our guided tour to explore this little-known town on the west coast of Scotland. Oban, whose name comes from the Gaelic for "little bay," has one of the most beautiful bays in Scotland. On this tour, we'll visit Oban's most iconic sights, including its famous distillery, one of the oldest in Scotland, dating back to 1794.

After viewing the distillery, we'll pass by the War and Peace Museum, where you can discover significant chapters of Oban's past, including the story of the Dutch ship SS Breda.

Finally, we'll approach the McCaig Tower, a coliseum-like building offering the best views of Oban and its coastline. You'll learn about this fascinating structure that has become a symbol of the city.

We will finish this guided tour of Oban in the center of the town after 1 hour.
