On this tour through the villages of Boyaca, we'll combine nature and history as we traverse through the main interior region of Colombia!

Visit Inland Colombia

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Tunja to begin our tour through the inland region of Boyaca. This Andean region features picturesque villages that we will explore throughout the day.

Our first stop is Chivata, where we'll visit the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Parish, a National Heritage Site of Colombia. Next, we'll proceed to Toca, where the main square showcases the twin temples of the Divino Salvador Parish.

Following this, we will arrive at Paipa and the Vargas reservoir and then head to Duitama, where we will explore Pueblito Boyacense, admiring the traditional architecture.

In this village, a traditional Boyaca meal will be served, including an appetizer, a choice of meat or fish for the main course, and a beverage. Afterwards, we will continue to the colonial town of Tibasosa, noted for its colonial architecture.

Our last village stop will be Nobsa, recognized for artisanal handicrafts made from sheep's wool. After visiting stalls offering these goods, we will return to your hotel in Tunja approximately 10 hours after pickup.
