Why Visit Boyaca Region?
We will pick you up from your Tunja hotel at the designated time and travel northeast to explore the landscape of the Boyacá region.
After approximately 2.5 hours, we will arrive in Mongui. From there, we will begin a hiking expedition to Ocetá, known for its extensive frailejones, which contribute to its unique atmosphere.
The hike to the Ocetá Moor will take between 4 and 6 hours depending on the group's pace. The ecological trail will allow for appreciation of the region's natural treasures, including various species of fauna and flora.
After hiking, we will return to Mongui to enjoy a traditional meal, which includes an appetizer, a main dish of fish or meat, and a drink. We will then return you to your hotel, arriving approximately 10 hours after pickup.
