Beautiful towns like Ráquira and Villa de Leyva await you on this tour of the towns of Ricaurte Alto, one of the most beautiful provinces in the department of Boyacá.

Highlights

After hotel pickup in Tunja, we will travel west to Ricaurte Alto, known for its geological heritage and picturesque towns.

During the journey, we will pass through a semi-desert landscape to reach Sáchica. Here, we will enjoy Colombian coffee and visit a small Archaeological and Cultural Museum.

The tour will then proceed to Sutamarchán for a traditional lunch including a starter, a main course of fish or meat, and a drink. Following lunch, we will head towards Tinjacá, noted for having one of the best climates in Colombia.

Next, we will visit Ráquira to see the gigantic Mano del Artesano and the town's colourful houses. Afterward, we'll proceed to Villa de Leyva, stopping at its Plaza Mayor and visiting the Fossil Museum to learn about its paleontological heritage.

You will be returned to your hotel in Tunja 10 hours after your pickup.
