Day 1
Your private tour of Phnom Penh begins with hotel pickup. Explore the Royal Palace, including the Silver Pagoda, which contains national treasures like the "Emerald Buddha." Next, visit the National Museum, Cambodia's main history and archaeology museum, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, travel to Silk Island or Koh Dach for a 10-mile (15 km) river cruise to observe hand-woven silk production. The day ends with drop-off at your hotel around 5 pm.
Day 2
The second day starts with hotel pickup and a visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), a former Khmer Rouge prison. The next stop is the Choeung Ek Memorial, known as "The Killing Fields," where over a million people were executed. After lunch in a local restaurant, visit Wat Ounalom and Wat Phnom, with significant Buddhist architecture. Conclude your tour at the famous Russian Market before returning to your hotel by around 5 pm.
