Phnom Penh Vespa Tour

If you want to discover the Cambodian capital in a different way, this vespa tour of Phnom Penh is perfect. You can choose between a tour of Silk Island or an evening food route.

Tour Options

When booking, you can opt for a daytime Silk Island tour or an evening food tour. In both cases, the tour includes pickup at your hotel in Phnom Penh, an English-speaking guide, and transport by vespa.

On both tours, the guide will drive the vespa. Each vespa has a capacity for 2 people: the guide and one passenger. If you book for more than 2 people, the tour will be done with different scooters and guides.

Silk Island Tour (4.5 Hours)

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Phnom Penh and drive the vespas to the outskirts of the Cambodian capital. We'll stop at the dock of the Mekong River, where we'll board a ferry with the vespas.

After a short river crossing of 15 minutes, we'll arrive at Silk Island, where we'll enjoy a vespa tour. We'll ride through various parts of this enclave, viewing fields, agricultural villages, local markets, a tofu skin production centre, and a Buddhist temple.

We'll also visit a silk weaving workshop to see how silk fabrics are woven using ancient techniques. Finally, we'll return to the Silk Island pier for the ferry back to Phnom Penh and drop you off at your hotel.

Evening Food Tour (4 Hours)

If you opt for this option, we'll pick you up from your hotel and take you on an evening food tour by vespa. We will taste 10 specialities including fried rice noodles, Cambodian rice noodle soup, crispy pancakes, and more.

We will stop at various street stalls and restaurants in downtown Phnom Penh to sample these food tastings. The street food in Phnom Penh is varied, allowing us to enjoy Cambodian cuisine. We will conclude at Bassac Lane Bar, where those of age can enjoy a local beer, before returning to your hotel with the vespas.
