Sambor Prei Kuk Private Day Trip

On the morning of your tour, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Phnom Penh and taken north to the archaeological park of Sambor Prei Kuk. This historic royal sanctuary and former capital city dates back to the 7th century, making it among Cambodia's oldest temple complexes.

After a journey of around three hours, you'll begin your guided visit, learning about its history while viewing the archaeological complex. You'll pass temples that have been taken over by tree roots and branches, discovering places yet to be overrun by mass tourism.

After exploring the various architectural structures, including the prasats, octagonal towers, Shiva lingams, yonis, ponds, and statues of lions, you'll take a break at a local restaurant for lunch.

Following your meal, you'll return to your hotel in Phnom Penh.
