You will be picked up from your hotel in Phnom Penh in the morning and transported north to the archaeological park of Sambor Prei Kuk. This former capital city and royal sanctuary dates back to the 7th century, making it older than Angkor and one of Cambodia's oldest temple complexes.

After approximately three hours of travel, you will start your guided visit to the ancient site, learning about its history while viewing the archaeological complex. You will see temples overrun by tree roots, evoking the spirit of exploration, and discover sites less affected by mass tourism.

After exploring the architectural structures, including prasats, octagonal towers, Shiva lingams, yonis, ponds, and statues of lions, you will enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant.

Following your meal, you will return to your hotel in Phnom Penh.
