Day Trip Details

At the agreed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Phnom Penh and head northwest in an air-conditioned vehicle toward Wat Vipassana Dkurak, located about 30 kilometers away. On the way, we’ll stop in the Cham village, the heart of Cambodia’s Muslim community.

After learning about the Cham people’s traditions, we’ll continue to Wat Vipassana Dkurak, one of the significant temples in Cambodia. We will explore its construction history and the number of worshippers visiting each year.

From Wat Vipassana Dkurak, we’ll proceed to Udong, where we’ll have a picnic lunch before visiting several of the town’s temples.

Udong is home to three large stupas that contain the ashes of ancient kings. We’ll explore these monuments and learn about their past. Additionally, we’ll visit the Vihara of the 18-Cubit Buddha, notable despite damage from regional conflicts.

Finally, on our return to Phnom Penh, we’ll stop in Kompong Luong to explore the town’s traditional crafts, featuring unique handmade pieces.
