Description

We'll gather at Oeiras Marina at the designated time to commence our paddleboard excursion along Lisbon's beautiful coastline. Are you prepared to explore the most enchanting beaches of the Portuguese capital in a distinctive and enjoyable manner?

Before we set off, a short briefing will be provided on the safe handling of the stand-up paddleboard (SUP) and its associated equipment, alongside various paddling techniques. Life jackets will be distributed, followed by a practice session on the beach to ensure you're comfortable with balancing. Once we’ve covered the basics, we’ll plunge into the water to apply what we've learned!

Launching from Oeiras, situated at Lisbon’s western tip, we will paddle towards the renowned beaches of the Estoril coast. As we navigate along the way, you’ll marvel at several impressive coastal fortresses. Key highlights include the striking Fort of São Julião da Barra guarding Carcavelos Beach, along with the magnificent fortresses of Santo Amaro and São João das Maias.

Concluding our 2-hour paddleboarding journey along Lisbon's coast, we will head back to our original meeting point.
