Ollantaytambo Guided Tour

Meet us at Plaza de Armas to kick off our guided tour of Ollantaytambo. We'll walk over to the Incan neighborhood of Qosqo Ayllu, which continues to uphold its heritage through its streets, squares, and sacred sites.

Here, we'll share the historical account of the interaction between the Inca civilization and the Huari people, highlighting the influence of customs, religion, and traditions. You'll visit houses over 500 years old and stroll along the cobblestone streets to admire the canals crafted by the Incas.

Next, we'll head to Pata Calle, where we'll visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. Here, we'll discuss the romantic story between Ollanta and Cusiqollor, and afterward, we'll walk to Pinkulluna Mountain to see ancient Incan granaries.

Then, we'll take a one-hour break for a typical Peruvian lunch with ingredients from the Sacred Valley, including a starter, a broth, and a drink.

After 3 hours, we'll conclude our guided tour of Ollantaytambo by returning to the starting point.
