Ollantaytambo Guided Tour

Meet us at Plaza de Armas to start our guided tour of Ollantaytambo. We will walk to the Incan neighborhood of Qosqo Ayllu, which maintains its heritage through its streets, squares, and sacred sites.

We will share the historical account of the interaction between the Inca civilization and the Huari people, discussing the influence of customs, religion, and traditions. We will visit houses over 500 years old and stroll along the cobblestone streets to admire the canals crafted by the Incas.

Next, we will head to Pata Calle to the archeological site of Ollantaytambo. We will discuss the romantic story between Ollanta and Cusiqollor and then continue to Pinkulluna Mountain to see ancient Incan granaries.

After this, we will take a one-hour break for a typical Peruvian lunch featuring ingredients from the Sacred Valley, including a starter, a broth, and a drink.

After 3 hours, we will conclude our guided tour of Ollantaytambo by returning to the starting point.
