Ollantaytambo Guided Tour

Meet us at Plaza de Armas to begin our guided tour of Ollantaytambo. We will walk to the Incan neighborhood of Qosqo Ayllu, which preserves its heritage through its streets, squares, and sacred sites.

We will share the history of the interaction between the Inca civilization and the Huari people, emphasizing the impact of customs, religion, and traditions. As we visit houses over 500 years old, we will stroll along cobblestone streets to admire the canals crafted by the Incas.

Next, we will proceed to Pata Calle and the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, where we will discuss the romantic story of Ollanta and Cusiqollor. Later, we will walk to Pinkulluna Mountain to view ancient Incan granaries.

We will take a one-hour break for a typical Peruvian lunch featuring ingredients from the Sacred Valley, including a starter, a broth, and a drink. After three hours, we will conclude our guided tour of Ollantaytambo by returning to the starting point.
