Istria Food Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Opatija at 9 am and start our food tour through Istria heading west until we reach Hum, the smallest town in the world.

Upon arrival, we'll take a guided tour through the streets of Hum and discover the many legends that are told about this town. We'll complete our tour of Hum with a taste of biska, a brandy made from spices that can only be tasted in this Croatian town.

We'll continue to Motovun, exploring the town's monuments such as St. Stephen's Church and its bell tower. We will focus on the white truffle, which is grown in the forests of Motovun. A local restaurant will demonstrate how to prepare a dish with this ingredient, followed by a tasting of this dish and other typical meals of Motovun.

Our final stop will be Grožnjan, where vineyards and olive groves are essential to the economy. We'll stroll through the cobblestone streets of the village and discover the local production of wines and olive oils.

The tour will end by returning to your hotel in Opatija at 5 pm.
