At 9 am, hotel pickup will be provided from Opatija. The tour will cross into Slovenia, beginning with a visit to Lipica to see the famous Lipizzan horses.

The first stop will be a farm where you will learn about this horse breed and its significance to Slovenians, including its representation on local currency. You will gain insights into daily care for the Lipizzan horses, and there will be opportunities for close interaction.

Next, visit the Lipikum Museum, which features exhibits on the intricacies of dressage. Depending on the tour date, you may have the chance to attend a live Lipizzan horse show.

The tour then continues to the Skocjan Caves, a cave system along the Reka River. Visitors will explore impressive stalactites, stalagmites, water rapids, and the scenic Skocjan lakes. The tour includes viewing the largest underground canyon in the world.

Finally, return to Opatija for drop-off at your hotel at approximately 2 pm.
