Lipica & Skocjan Caves Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Opatija. We'll leave Croatia to visit Lipica and admire the famous Lipizzan horses.

First, we'll visit a farm to learn about this horse breed and its significance to Slovenians. The horses even appear on one of their coins. You'll learn about their daily care and can interact with them.

Next, we will visit the Lipikum Museum, which offers insights into the intricacies of dressage. Depending on the tour date, you might attend a live Lipizzan horse show.

Afterward, we will proceed to the Skocjan Caves, formed along the Reka River. We will explore this Slovenian cave system, admiring impressive stalactites and stalagmites, water rapids, and the stunning Skocjan lakes. You will also witness the largest underground canyon in the world.

Finally, we will return to Opatija, dropping you back at your hotel at approximately 2 pm.
