Olive Oil Mill and Grove Tour + Tasting

In this experience, we'll visit an Oristano olive oil mill and its olive grove to learn the secrets of Sardinian liquid gold, including an olive oil tasting.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Oristano olive grove's entrance, located on the outskirts of the town in west Sardinia. The tour includes a walk through a countryside of olive trees more than 100 years old.

Guided by Paola and Antonello, the owners of the estate, we will discover how they produce extra virgin olive oil. The grounds feature farm animals, an ancient well, and a stone mill.

Participants will enjoy an experience in contact with nature and learn about Sardinian traditions as Paola and Antonello share interesting facts about the olive trees and the production of olive oil, a prominent component of the Mediterranean diet.

Next, we will explore the oil mill, where a detailed explanation of the olive oil production process will be provided. The experience concludes with an olive oil tasting.

After 2 hours of experience, we will say goodbye at the entrance of the olive grove.
