Castellón de la Plana Day Trip

At 9:10 am we'll meet at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office and board a minibus to Castellón de la Plana, with a journey of about 20 minutes.

Once in Castellón, we'll begin the visit at Grao de Castellón, enjoying the coast and long stretches of golden sand, as well as the fishing port, marina, lighthouse, and modernist houses.

Next, we will walk through the historic center of Castellón de la Plana to the Museum of Fine Arts. Here, we'll see its facade and enter to view sculptures, Valencian ceramics, and several paintings from Zurbarán's workshop.

Our next stop will be the Market, exclusively open on Mondays, featuring over 300 stalls with food, clothes, and many other products.

We will continue exploring the main monuments of Castellón de la Plana, including the façade of the Santa María la Mayor cathedral, El Fadrí bell tower, the theatre, and the Central Market. Throughout the tour, our guide will provide insights into the city's buildings and history, including the cultural significance of El Fadrí as an Asset of Cultural Interest.

We'll finish the tour at 1:30 pm, returning to Oropesa del Mar.
