Castellón de la Plana Day Trip
At 9:10 am we'll meet at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office and board a minibus to Castellón de la Plana. The journey will take about 20 minutes.
In Castellón, we'll begin by visiting the Grao de Castellón, where we can enjoy the coast, its long stretches of golden sand, the fishing port, marina, lighthouse, and modernist houses.
Next, we’ll walk through the historic centre of Castellón de la Plana, arriving at the Museum of Fine Arts. We will see sculptures, Valencian ceramics, and several paintings from Zurbarán's workshop.
Our next stop will be the Market, open on Mondays, featuring over 300 stalls selling food, clothes, and various products.
We will continue exploring the main monuments of Castellón de la Plana, including the façade of the Santa María la Mayor cathedral, the El Fadrí bell tower, the theatre, and the Central Market. Throughout the tour, our guide will provide information about the city's buildings and history.
We'll finish the tour at 1:30 pm, returning to Oropesa del Mar.
