Delta del Ebro Day Trip & Boat Ride

At 3 pm we'll meet at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office, next to the beach. From here we'll make the little over one hour journey to the natural environment of the Delta del Ebro, where we'll see key locations on a catamaran.

Upon arriving at the natural park, we'll embark and begin a 50-minute journey around Buda Island. During the route, we'll discuss the geographical characteristics of this reserve and its rich crustacean-filled wetlands, which contribute to the local cuisine. We'll also share facts about the island's past and its name origin.

We will continue sailing through the rice fields and learn about traditional crop cultivation. Birdwatching opportunities are available, with chances to see species like flamingos, herons, and seagulls.

After our boat tour, we'll make a brief visit to the Ecomuseum to understand the conservation efforts of the Delta del Ebro.

Finally, we will return to Oropesa del Mar, arriving at approximately 8 pm.
