Maestrazgo Mining Park & Culla Excursion

At 8:45 am, we'll pick you up at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office and board a minibus to the Maestrazgo Mining Park, located in the region of Alto Maestrazgo.

Upon arrival, we will board a mining train to the entrance of the Victoria mine. Safety helmets will be provided as we explore this underground gallery.

Explanatory videos will inform you about the working conditions of miners from centuries ago, along with information on extracted minerals and tools on display.

Next, we will visit the Esperanza mine, discussing the natural conditions found in the galleries and observing stalactites, shafts, and root systems.

We will then proceed to Culla, a significant site of the Order of the Temple. A guided tour will take us through the town's cobbled streets, highlighting its history and main monuments, including the 11th-century Arab castle, the Granero del Comendador, and the old hospital.

Finally, we will return to Oropesa del Mar by minibus, arriving at approximately 1:45 pm.
