Morella Day Trip

The medieval charm of one of the most beautiful towns in Spain awaits on our Morella Day Trip. We'll set off from Oropesa del Mar and explore its artistic and cultural heritage.

At 9:15 am, we'll meet at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office and board our minibus to set off for Morella, which is 71 miles (115 kilometers) away.

Morella is known for its stunning views, evident as we pass through the San Miguel Gate and head towards the old quarter.

Morella features stately mansions, stone arches, and cobbled streets. As we stroll through its historic center, we'll discuss its medieval heritage, highlighted by its mile-long (2-kilometer) city walls, 10 towers, and 7 gates.

At midday, you’ll have free time to have lunch and sample local gastronomy. Afterward, we will visit an artisanal honey shop in Morella.

Our next stop will be the Morella Basilica, a prominent religious building in the region, showcasing beautiful interior decorations.

We'll also visit the exterior of Morella Castle and discuss its history. You will then have 1 hour of free time to visit the castle or explore local shops and eateries.

Finally, we will take the minibus back to Oropesa del Mar, arriving at 7:15 pm.
