The Traiguera & Cervera del Maestre Day Trip explores historical sites near Oropesa del Mar. Meeting occurs at 9 am in front of the Tourist Office in Plaza París. The trip begins with a 1-hour bus drive to Traiguera.

Upon arrival, visitors will explore thousand-year-old olive groves and learn about their cultivation, with the oldest tree dating back to 971. The tour includes learning about the production of Traiguera's olive oil, along with a tasting of the oil paired with a selection of cold meats.

Next, the group will visit Cervera del Maestre, walking through cobbled streets and stopping at the Oil Mill Visitor Centre. The tour includes notable monuments such as the old medieval fish market, the Church of the Assumption, and the Cervera del Maestre Castle, with discussions about the fortress's role during Spain's Reconquista period.

After the tour, participants will return to Traiguera to visit the Royal Sanctuary of the Virgen María de la Font de la Salud, discussing its history dating back to the reign of Charles V, including a visit to the guest house, the priests' house, the kitchen, and the hermitage.

The day trip concludes at 2:30 pm back at the starting location.
