Did you know that Villafamés is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain? Come to this area of the province of Castellón and discover its monuments and scenery.

At 3:30 pm, we'll meet outside the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office to start the trip. We'll travel for 30 minutes onboard a minibus to Villafamés.

Upon arrival, we'll begin a guided tour of the historic centre of the village, which has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest. The tour will highlight Villafamés's strategic location on a hill and its historical significance.

Participants will see the façade of the church of La Asunción, distinctive stone houses, and the castle from the times of Muslim rule. Historical details about these buildings will be provided.

Next, we'll visit the Roca Grossa, a large stone formation shrouded in mystery. Here, participants will make three wishes, with the legend stating only one will be granted. We will discuss the myths related to this natural monument during the tour.

The final stop will be at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Villafamés, located in the Batlle Palace. The museum features numerous works of art from the 1920s to the present, concluding the excursion.

The tour will finish at 7:30 pm with a drop-off at Oropesa del Mar.
