Gulf of Orosei Trekking Tours
The route of the trekking tour in the Gulf of Orosei will vary depending on the day of the week you choose. All routes start at 8:30 am at Piazza del Popolo in Orosei and end at the same point:
Cala Luna Route (Fridays)
If you choose to do the tour on Friday, we will focus on the shores of the Gulf of Orosei. In an all-terrain vehicle, we will travel through this national park until we reach Cala Gonone, the starting point of a four-and-a-half-hour trekking route. Along the way, we will admire the Sardinian coastline and high cliffs until we reach Cala Luna.
Upon arrival, you will have two and a half hours of free time to eat your packed lunch and swim. Afterwards, we will trek back along the Codula di Luna canyon and return to Orosei around 6:30 pm.
Gorropu Gorge Route (Saturdays)
If you opt for the Gorropu Gorge tour on a Saturday, we will take an all-terrain vehicle to this famous canyon created by the Flumineddu River, where we will start a five-hour trekking route. We will discover local flora and fauna and explore this deep canyon.
Prior to returning, you will have one hour of free time. We will conclude the activity and return to Orosei by 4:30 pm.
Mount Tiscali Route (Sundays)
On Sundays, we will travel by jeep to Mount Tiscali for a four-and-a-half-hour trekking route. We will explore this mountain and search for a Nuragic village, discussing the beliefs and lifestyle of this ancient civilization.
You will have one hour of free time for lunch before we return to Orosei around 3:30 pm.
